It’s a new month, it’s a new week and you’re having a lack of motivation? I want to show you a few tips how to get motivated. There is no real topic so it’s for everyone. No matter if your recovering from an eating disorder or just want to start eating healthier & working out.😊

1⃣ Make a list with your goals :

It’s very important to make a list with all your goals you want to achieve. For me it’s a great feeling to tick my goals off. I recommend a cute little book where you write down your journey and goals.

2⃣Be patient:

Don’t be upset if you’re not seeing results the first weeks. You can’t change your world from now on till tomorrow. But it’s important not to give up and still fight for your aims.

3⃣ Search for inspirational quotes:

if i’m not motivated at all i’m always searching for quotes that cheer me up and are really motivational. 😊

It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.

•in the end it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.

• Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later. –

•True humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking less about yourself.

Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish, in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach. Check your road and the nature of your battle. „Opportunities don’t happen, you create them.“

Nothing in the world is ever completely wrong. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

Of course motivation is not permanent. But then, neither is bathing; but it is something you should do on a regular basis.

• The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.

• The only thing standing between you and your goal is the bullshit story you keep telling yourself as to why you can’t achieve it.

4⃣ Set yourself interim results

It’s important to build anticipation. Set yourself special dates (e.g every week) where your WRITING DOWN what you’ve achieved since your started. Take pictures of your transformation if you’re trying to loose weight, reward yourself for sth you’ve done great the past week, BE PROUD OF YOURSELF!

5⃣ Think about the benefits and NOT the difficulties :

Exercising sounds so hard, eating more is so hard, just thinking about it makes you feel frightened? STOP IT!

Write down the benefits of starting recovery/ working out/ etc.

Stop thinking how hard the journey is, try to focuse on positive thoughts, e.g how good you’ll feel after a workout / you’ve done something you always wanted to do.

6⃣ Get support:

For me it’s really really important not to be alone and to get support.

It doesn’t matter if it’s from your family, friends, or even from the instagram community. I can really recommend starting a feed with your journey to keep being motivated! You’re under a community with mostly the same goals so you can support/motivate/inspire each other. 😊

You can look through transformation pictures or just how the person has developed him/herself : THIS CAN BE SO INSPIRATIONAL!
